Airdate Webinar Replays: setup guide
Airdate Webinar Replays is a free HubSpot module for a library of past webinar replays. You type the replays once, in any order. Visitors see them newest first, can pick a category, search by title, speaker or topic, and open more with a "Show more" button. Each date shows in the visitor's own time zone and in the language of the page.
It works on every HubSpot plan. No app to install, no account to create, no outside script.
Important: the module is a library of links. It does not play the videos and has no form before the replay: each replay opens the address you give. It lists past sessions only; for upcoming sessions, see "Limits" below.
1. Install and add the module
- Install Airdate Webinar Replays from the HubSpot Template Marketplace.
- Open a website page, landing page or blog post in the editor.
- In the Add panel, search for Airdate Webinar Replays and drag it where you want the library.
- Give each row of Replays a title, the Date of the session and the Replay link, then publish.
A new module comes with three sample replays, without dates or links. In the editor, replays without a date get sample dates so the block never looks empty. On the live page, a replay without a date is not shown. See "In the editor" below.
2. Heading and introduction
- Heading and Heading level (H2, H3 or H4): the title above the library, "Webinar replays" by default. Leave it empty to show none. Pick the level that fits the outline of your page. The title of each replay is one level below.
- Introduction: one line under the heading. Leave it empty to show none.
3. Replays
One row per replay, up to 100. Type them in any order: the module sorts them by date, newest first.
- Title: the name of the session. It is the link to the replay.
- Date of the session: when the session went live. Visitors see the date in their own time zone. A replay dated in the future stays hidden until that moment.
- Speaker: a name, or a few words such as "The product team". Leave it empty to show none.
- Category: a short topic, such as "Marketing". Replays with the same category (same spelling) share a filter button.
- Duration (minutes): 45 by default, shown after the date ("45 min").
- Replay link: the page or the video of the replay (YouTube, Vimeo, a page of your site, a file from the file manager). Its "open in a new tab" option is followed. Without a link, the replay shows "Replay soon" and is not clickable.
- Image (optional): a still from the video, in 16:9. Without an image, the module draws a plain thumbnail in the colors of the Style tab, with the category and a play mark.
- Short summary (optional): one or two lines under the speaker, cut after three lines.
4. Filters, search and "Show more"
- Replays shown at first: 6 by default, from 1 to 60. The Show more replays button shows the same number again, until all are shown.
- Show the category filters: on by default. One button per category, plus "All". The buttons appear only when the replays already aired have at least two categories.
- Show the search field: on by default. The search looks in the titles, the speakers and the categories, not in the summaries. Case and accents do not matter ("resume" finds "Résumé"), and every word typed must match. Escape clears the field.
Filters and search work together. A line above the library gives the number of replays that match. When nothing matches, a message and a Show all replays button take their place. Changing the filter or the search starts again from the first replays.
5. Texts
Every word the module adds is a field, in the Texts group. Write them in your page's language:
- Search field label ("Search the replays") and hint ("Title, speaker or topic");
- Filter buttons, for screen readers ("Filter by category") and All categories button ("All");
- Result count, one replay ("{n} replay") and several replays ("{n} replays"):
{n}is replaced by the number; - Nothing matches ("No replay matches your search.") and Clear the search button ("Show all replays");
- Show more button ("Show more replays");
- Minutes ("min"), No replay link yet ("Replay soon") and No replay published ("Replays will appear here after each session.");
- Screen reader hint for links that open a new tab ("(opens in a new tab)");
- The two editor notes, shown in the editor only.
Dates follow the language of the page. The count picks "one" or "several" by the rules of that language.
6. Appearance
In the Style tab: accent (pressed filter, categories, focus outline, the Show more button; it follows your theme's primary color when the theme has one), text on the accent, text, secondary text (dates, summaries, count), card background, borders, drawn thumbnail (keep it dark: the play mark is white), columns and corner radius (0 to 24 px). The module uses your theme's font.
- Columns: 1 (a row per replay, the thumbnail on the left), 2 (by default) or 3. In a narrow column, three columns become two, then one, by themselves. On a phone (screens up to 600 px wide), replays become compact rows with a small thumbnail.
How the library works
- The page is sent with every replay that has a date, newest first, with its date, its link and its texts. Search engines and visitors without JavaScript read the whole library.
- In the visitor's browser, the replays are sorted by date again, and those dated in the future are hidden. A replay dated within the next 24 hours appears at its time, even on a page that is already open.
- Each date is written in the language of the page and the visitor's time zone, such as "September 23, 2026". Only the date shows, not the time.
- The first replays are shown (Replays shown at first), with the filters, the search and the count.
HubSpot caches pages: because the future replays are hidden in the browser, a replay you schedule ahead appears at its date without republishing the page.
In the editor
- Replays without a date get sample dates in the editor and in previews: yesterday at 5:00 PM for the first row, then one week earlier for each next row. The sample dates are never used on the live page.
- A yellow note says when no replay has a link yet, and another when some replays have no date. Visitors never see them.
Without JavaScript
The whole library shows, newest first, with each date in the format of your portal and each link. The search, the filters, the count and the Show more button do not show, since they need the script. A replay dated in the future is shown too in that case, as the browser cannot check the date.
Accessibility
- The replays are an ordered list. Each title is a heading and the link to the replay; the whole card opens it, and the focus outline goes round the card.
- Filter buttons tell screen readers whether they are pressed (
aria-pressed). The search field has a visible label. - The number of results is announced to screen readers (a status line). While a visitor types, it is announced once they pause.
- After "Show more", the keyboard focus moves to the first replay just shown.
- Buttons and the search field are at least 44 px high. Images and drawn thumbnails are decorative: screen readers skip them, the title follows.
- Dates are in
<time>elements with the exact moment. Links that open a new tab say so to screen readers.
Limits
- Past sessions only. Upcoming sessions do not show here. For a list of upcoming sessions with a join button while live, use the free Airdate Session List module (our free modules are released one by one on the marketplace).
- No video player. Each replay opens its link. For a replay behind a form, the free Airdate Replay Gate module goes on the replay's own page.
- The replays are typed by hand. They are not synced with HubSpot marketing events, your webinar tool or your video host. Up to 100 replays per module.
- The filters use the categories exactly as typed: "Marketing" and "marketing" make two buttons.
- The filter and the search are not kept in the page address.
- Hiding the future replays uses the clock of the visitor's device.
FAQ
Does it need Content Hub Pro?
No. It works on every HubSpot plan, including free.
Does it work in emails?
No. It works in website pages, landing pages and blog pages (posts and listing).
A replay does not show. Why?
Check its Date of the session: without a date, or with a date in the future, it is hidden on the live page. Check also the filter and the search, and Replays shown at first: the others come with "Show more replays".
There are no filter buttons. Why?
They need at least two categories among the replays already aired, and Show the category filters on.
Can I translate the labels?
Yes. All texts are fields, in the Texts group. Dates follow the language of the page.
Can I use it more than once on a page?
Yes. Each module has its own replays and settings.
Texts in French, German and Spanish
Every word the module shows is a field. To use the module on a page in another language, open the module in the editor and paste these texts in the matching fields. Keep the words in braces, such as {n}, as they are: the module replaces them. Dates, times and numbers already follow the language of the page.
