# Why your webinar show-up rate is stuck at 30%

**Most registrants never show up. Three changes that moved our show-up rate from 30% to 46% in six weeks.**

## The problem is not the topic

When a session gets 400 registrants and 120 attendees, the reflex is to blame the subject. In our data, the topic explains less than a third of the gap. The rest happens between registration and the live.

## Three changes that worked

- **Confirm the value, not the date.** The confirmation email repeats the one problem the session will fix, in one sentence.
- **Remind on the day, twice.** One email at 9 AM, one text or email 15 minutes before. The second reminder alone brings 8 to 10 points.
- **Make the calendar invite the default.** An "Add to calendar" button right after the form beats any reminder sequence.

## What to measure next

Track show-up rate per session, not per month. A monthly average hides the sessions that fail.
